Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their dynamic team in California. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow their accounting skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial reports.
• Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in an accounting role is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Additional Details:

Pay range: $38 - $48 per hour.
